  37. Thank you for your interest in Snooper, the System Checker!  This
  38. handy system information utility reports many operating
  39. characteristics of your computer.  Snooper tells you all about your
  40. computer's CPU, NDP, bus, memory, ports, IRQs, DMA, mouse, disks,
  41. network, and much more.  It can run unattended (for batch files),
  42. print its screens to a file or printer, and automatically configure
  43. itself for Desqview, color or monochrome video cards, and much more.

  47.                              REQUIREMENTS
  48.  
  49. You may want to postpone reading the rest of this manual to run
  50. Snooper.  Go ahead!  Snooper doesn't change your computer except to
  51. write a log file if you ask it.  Here are its system requirements:

  53.  * IBM PC or 100% compatible
  54.  * 256K RAM
  55.  * DOS 3.1 or higher
  56.  * a video card
  57.  
  58. In short, Snooper should run on your computer.

  63. Make sure Snooper is in your current directory or on your path.

  84. Please read the manual.  It explains how to use Snooper's advanced
  85. features, such as the SNOOPER environment variable and file logging. 
  86. You may even get a chuckle out of it.  The manual is over seventy
  87. pages long so be sure you have enough paper before you start printing.
